We are looking for a Buyer to join our growing team! This full time position will work onsite Monday-Friday with a flexible start time between 7:00-8:00 am. The Buyer will purchase various supplies and equipment for the operation based on established procedures and guidelines. They will collaborate with other team members in the supply chain department and across other functions in the organization to procure the most appropriate and cost-effective products to meet department and organizational needs.

Job Description:

• Maintain data/information integrity within the SAP ERP including but not limited to vendor information, purchasing terms, lead times, costs, etc.
• Work closely with stakeholders including planning, production, scheduling, shipping, receiving and logistics regarding site and business priorities
• Ensure raw materials, packaging components, supplies, services are purchased as required to maintain the safe and efficient operations of the sites and business
• Ensure that required documentation such as certificates of analysis or conformity, SDS, insurance documentation, use and handling instructions, etc. are received as required from vendors and routed to appropriate stakeholders
• Provide vendor/supplier oversight with regard to responsiveness and performance. Participate in vendor and supplier qualification, performance evaluations, metrics tracking, etc.
• Interface with Quality, EHS, and other stakeholders in vendor/supplier complaint or poor performance investigations
• Participate in project assignments, i.e. Dual sourcing, RFQ’s, RFP’s, Working Capital Improvement
• Drives to improve purchasing performance in daily efforts.

About the Job

The Buyer purchases various supplies and equipment for the operation based on established procedures and guidelines. This position is based at our Rutherfordton, North Carolina USA location and will have site responsibility to execute the materials and equipment purchasing function in a way that ensures maximum uptime performance, on-time delivery to customers, and profitability for the organization.

Summary Of Role

The ServicePLUS Center Operator responsibility is to ensure that the ServicePLUS Center operates smoothly by completing various tasks as assigned. These tasks include receipt of transfer orders, pick and pack of goods, basic quality inspection, delivery and pick up of goods, basic sub-assembly of TSS products into customer hardware and other basic warehouse functions.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Accurate picking, processing, packaging and delivery of customer orders
  • Basic customer service skills
• Ability to lift or move heavy products
• Sub-assembly of TSS product into customer hardware
• Basic product inspection
  • General knowledge of reading a print
  • Ability to follow ISO 9001:2015 procedures
  • Can use calipers and other inspection tools

Summary of Role

Production is responsible to assemble components. These tasks include picking components, following assembly instructions and inspecting finished goods to ensure they were made to specification.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Daily assembly of assigned production parts
• Repetitive assembly work in a comfortable environment
• Meet daily production output requirements
• Perform final inspections using Industrial standards, using calipers, and other inspection tools
• Identify non-conformances of finished components through established inspection methods
• Packages according to packaging requirements and identifies all parts with appropriate labels and identification tags.

Education and Experience
