Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Tewkesbury is looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer, reporting to the Quality Manager. The role is primarily to support the implementation, maintenance and ensure the applicability of the Integrated Management System in alignment with ISO9001:2015 and AS9100 Rev. D, NADCAP, AS13100 and ISO 29001.

Summary of the Role:

As a Quality Engineer, you will hold responsibility for the quality aspects for products and processes to meet our customers' requirements and work closely with different internal partners.

Key duties/responsibilities:

• Line manager responsibility for Quality Controllers and Quality Technician.
• Support the ongoing management of business management system processes, and procedures and ensure documented evidence is maintained.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and support with customer, ISO and NADCAP audits.
• Lead and support 8D investigations and problem-solving resolutions.
• Engage in ongoing communication with customers, acting as liaison to resolve outstanding quality issues, provide audit follow-up, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that established quality and process procedures remain effective.
• Maintain awareness of the importance of training evidence to ensure all employees have received all vital training.
• Provide guidance for staff questions and solutions for quality.
• Monitor investigations of quality problems withing manufactured products.

Knowledge/Experience

The position calls for an individual who holds a recognised qualification (at the least ONC / HNC / HND) in mechanical and production engineering or relevant fields.

Ideally you will have minimum 2 years of Quality management in a manufacturing or engineering industry, including previous experience of performing QMS audits. You will be skilled at applying sound analytical techniques, such as 8D and FMEA as well as the experience to produce FAIRS.
