Within the Business Unit Antivibration Solutions we are developing and producing rubber-metal parts with approx. 750 employees across 8 sites worldwide. Our products are used in various areas, such as agricultural and construction machinery, wind turbines, general industry, marine applications and rail vehicles. Our innovation department consists of 5 engineers and deals with the development of new, innovative solutions, research and groundbreaking customer projects.

About the Job

As Key Account Manager (m/f/d) you are responsible for specific Key Accounts within the Cable Entry Solutions business. Most of your Key Accounts are in field of OEM. The role requests a strong commercial competence, a process driven mind-set and technical skills with an ability to understand the market dynamics in targeted industries (Manufacturing & Machine Tools, Renewable Energy and Telecom) and tailormade solutions in the field of Cable Management Systems. Moreover, the Key Account Manager (m/f/d) will act as a contact person for our key accounts, implementing and following the global strategy.

  • Maintain contact to current customers and prospect to protect current business
  • Generate new business
  • Assess market conditions and set strategies continuously to grow revenues significantly on short-, mid- and long term
  • Keep appraised of market trends in business as well as by competitors, actively communicate those within the organization
  • Prepare business and annual plans covering sales and marketing budgets
  • Participate in industry-related shows, conferences, associations and technical sessions to maintain an up-to-date solid understanding of the industry
  • Develop plans and find opportunities to advise the future growth of the business through new products, markets and services
  • Negotiate contracts and price agreements with Key Accounts

Your profile and skills

  • Successfully completed your University degree in Business/Management, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar role within Sales
  • Experience in project business
  • English and German at the business proficient level
  • Further language will be a further benefit
