Within the Business Unit Antivibration Solutions we are developing and producing rubber-metal parts with approx. 750 employees across 8 sites worldwide. Our products are used in various areas, such as agricultural and construction machinery, wind turbines, general industry, marine applications and rail vehicles. Our innovation department consists of 5 engineers and deals with the development of new, innovative solutions, research and groundbreaking customer projects.

As Sales Manager (m/f/d) you are responsible for driving revenue growth and market penetration within the marine industry.

About the Job

  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals and work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies in order to handle their portfolio of existing accounts, winning new customers and for maximum revenue generation
  • Maintain and develop key accounts, identify new business possibilities and grow relationships with key partners and prospects to protect current business, generate new opportunities and continuously improves customer happiness
  • Coordinates development of selling programs, pricing, and policies to insure profitable and effective operations of the sales department, applies Sales Excellence and builds customer value
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and advise strategic decision-making
  • Prepares business and annual plans covering sales and marketing budgets
  • Analyzes and reports key results to management and direct reports
  • Create and document reports, secure documentations of sales and market information and maintain customer data
  • Supports an efficient Sales Project Management from concept through to realization of the order, supervise an effective sales pipeline to seek for new business opportunities

Your profile and skills

  • Optimally completed your University degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, with a consistent record of success in the marine industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to encourage and empower
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience in project business, very good understanding of business economics
  • Shown ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans and drive business growth
  • English at the business proficient level
