Trelleborg Slovenia offers a wide range of products for use in rescue operations and environmental protection. We offer catch bags and lifting bags of various pressures and shapes, crafted for lifting, lowering, installing, spreading, pushing and moving loads up to a weight of 100,000 kg, as well as the corresponding filling equipment for these products. We also hold complete portfolio of solutions for the rehabilitation of drain and wastewater systems; starting from the sink in your bathroom and down to the wastewater treatment plant outside your city or municipality.
We are inviting to our team an engaged, curious and proactive R&D Engineer who will be a key member of R&D, and will lead product development activities. The key focus of this role is to ensure products design meet technical specifications and customer performance requirements enabling them to be driven within the market place whilst maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. If you have a creative mind set to use existing capabilities and develop innovative solutions, high ability to learn new applications, technologies and capabilities, be kindly invited. You will have contact with Customers and Sales people on the one hand, interact as well with production and process technology and offer support to Purchasing department.
JOB DESCRIPTION
By joining us, you will
- Lead and cooperate in development processes.
- Follow the testing and application of new products to pre-serial production.
- Ensure products conform to the customer needs and ensure the compliance to regulatory standards.
- Review and interpret of customer specifications to determine appropriate products required to meet customer demands.
- Participate in implementation of new compounds and other materials.
- Prepare the answers to inquirers and offer technical support to customers.
- Present our products at trade fairs and other marketing events.
- Participate in solving claims.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor´s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Slovenian language C1, English or German B2.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to think creatively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
