We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Support professional or a candidate with an appropriate mix of skills and experience.  For example, you may currently be working in Field Services, Equipment Maintenance, as an Engineer or Project Manager.

As the Technical Support Manager, you will provide and coordinate technical & warranty support for Trelleborg Docking & Mooring products globally, predominantly within Line Mooring System to start.

More specifically you will:

  • Take responsibility for the provision of all technical assistance to clients, both internal and external utilising the service team and leveraging our engineering capabilities
  • Work to enhance the technical support experience
  • Manage product warranty on Trelleborg Docking & Mooring products
  • Take a lead role in the development and implementation of key process improvement initiatives in support of technical support service provision
  • Be a key driver of continuous improvement both within the technical support process itself and for the wider business and its products

For this role you will need:

  • Relevant trade or university qualifications such as one or more of the following:
  • Instrumentation or electrical trades, electrical, automation, mechanical or mechatronic engineering
  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years relevant work experience in areas such as industrial automation, instrumentation or electrical engineering design, construction, installation, maintenance, commissioning or other site services
  • Experience in leading teams and/or managing project outcomes. Other equivalent experience will be considered
  • Be able to demonstrate in-practice knowledge of managing work flows and task outcomes in a fast-paced environment
  • A track record showing an ability to review and improve business processes
  • Extensive experience dealing with clients especially under time pressure
  • Excellent written communications
  • Excellent customer service skills – client focused and patient under pressure
  • Experienced in and clear on the importance of health and safety processes
