About the Job
Quality engineer is part of the Quality Management & Product team and is responsible for ensuring and evaluating the manufacturing processes with regard to quality and reliability.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Ensuring and assessing the manufacturing processes with regard to quality and reliability
• Monitoring of product quality and scrap rate: Error analysis, CIP (Scrap Problem Solving), tracking of corrective and improvement measures according to QM specifications ( In process and Incoming )
• Development of suitable Control plans for production control and management of quality improvement projects
• Corrections and additions to inspection plans as part of complaints processing
• Monthly, quarterly, annual evaluation of production quality KPIs.
• Participation in the product development process (e.g. FMEA, PLP, APQP, FAI).
• Initiation and coordination of the 8D process for service providers.
• Management of special releases including tracking of corrective and improvement measures
• Calibration of inspection and test equipment's.
• Setting up and operating the measurement systems, evaluating the measurement data using special measurement tools and programs
• Optimization and continuous improvement of metrological procedures for recording the component dimensions.
• Support in processing field complaints
Education and Experience :
• BE Polymer or mechanical Engineering
• 6-8 years of working experience in manufacturing Quality, Incoming (Rubber / Plastic products)

• Quality tools and techniques
• Quality Management system
Key interfaces and stakeholders :
• Close collaboration with Production, Purchase, Engineering and Suppliers.
• Close collaboration with supply chain team from operations
