The Group Digital Services department consist of a team in Trelleborg (Sweden) and a team in Bangalore (India).

One of our main responsibilities is to help to improve the efficiency and productivity of the business. We are now increasing our output and to meet delivery excellence goals, we are looking for experienced developers to join our team and help to enhance our Cloud Solutions journey going forward.

Duties and responsibilities

• Project Delivery
o Own all aspects of development for the project - coding, code reviews, unit tests and code quality
o Coach/mentor the development engineers and working effectively with the testing team

• Technology
o Demonstrate technical excellence and quality focus while working on sprint user stories by minimizing or eliminating bugs per user story delivered
o Work closely with Delivery Lead and Technical Specialist to resolve any technical impediments as soon as they arise
o Ensure the coding standards are followed and tech debt are eliminated in every sprint
o Drive the technical competency of the development area including tools, methods, frameworks, etc.

• Quality
o Demonstrate an uncompromising "Quality First" focus and mentor development engineers on the Quality First mindset
o Own deliverable quality from a development perspective for each sprint and release
o Responsible for production quality deliverables
o Drive quality criteria across the development life-cycle starting from requirements to sprint demos

• Innovation
o Demonstrate commitment to innovation by actively learning and implementing new technical tools / methods / approaches and showcasing them to the team and other stakeholders.

• Continuous improvement
o Constantly seek to improve the current process
o Own and drive automation initiatives for efficiency improvements

Profile

• Bachelor/master’s degree with information technology background or equivalent

• At-least 5 years experience in Information Technology  Industry working with Microsoft Platform based Solutioning.

• Experience in Azure is with hands-on experience in these skills: Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure        SQL Managed Instance, Azure storage accounts..

• Experience in handling medium to large data migration projects

• Experience in creating program views, functions, and stored procedures

• Knowledge on Data Warehouse, Data Modeling and Data Integration

• Experience with close co-operation and daily contact with international colleagues

• Great team player who can explain concepts and functional requirements and help team members to overcome obstacles in       development

• Experience working with Agile (Scrum) project team development methodologies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to give and take direction, constructive criticism, feedback and work to specified deadlines

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Good Soft-skills and assertiveness – specifically to build trustful, collaborative relationships

• Positive attitude, decisive but humble when needed, puts the team first
