To support our Trelleborg Sealing Solutions – Aerospace Hub Europe team in Maisons-Laffitte (France), we are looking for you as an Application Engineer.
Scope of your role
- Technical sales expert for our sealing solutions specific to the Aerospace market and thereby deal with a large range of applications across Hydraulic and Actuation, Airframe, and Engine segments.
- Provide customers with a professional service concerning all technical aspects and for the total product range in an accurate and timely manner.
- Support technical data management system and compliance.
- Initiating and coordinating additional activities such as CAD drawings generation, testing plans realization and FE Analysis in support of customer needs.
- Conducting technical presentations and training for both customers and internal staff on the product range and capabilities.
- Report writing – Technical Proposals, Seal Condition Report, etc.
Your Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Material Technology or equivalent qualifications
- Project Management skills with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Experience in sealing technology is an advantage
- Good understanding of IT systems (CRM, ERP, etc.)
- Independent working approach with a strong drive to deliver quality solutions
- Experience in the Aerospace field is a plus
- Fluent in English verbal and written
