Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Tewkesbury has an exciting opportunity to join the business as a Machine Operative, starting on £12.91 per hour. After a basic training period have the ability to work with limited supervision in producing parts in accordance with the Company’s Health And Safety and Quality procedures.
- Locate materials and tooling
- Operate limited number of machines
- Correct usage of guards and safety switches for machinery
- Understanding of materials for product manufacture
- Identification and use of correct parts/machine for production
- Correct use of sprays/solvents/cleaning agents as applicable
- Correct manual handling of tools and moulds
- Carry out all operations as outlined in production paperwork
- After basic training period have the ability to work with limited supervision
- Flexible, to be transferred to other areas of production
- Carry out all work activities in accordance with HSE requirements
- Keep work area(s) in compliance with company housekeeping standards
Required Experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is favorable

- Quality conscious with strong attention to detail
- Understanding the need for quality and how it impacts on business
- Good understanding of foreign object defects, cause and rectification
- Good coordination skills
- Ability to understand and complete paperwork
- Maintain standards as set by Company
