This is an opportunity to join the business unit of Antivibration Solutions who specialize in the design & manufacture antivibration products. As a Team Manager you will lead a specialist team of engineers to ensure the highest level of customer support.
About the Job
- As Team Manager (f/m/d) Engineering you will lead a team of 4 engineers, carry out evaluation reviews, provide mentoring & assist with personal development
- Together with your team you will design and develop anti-vibration solutions to fulfill customer needs
- You will carry out rigid body dynamic simulation to select suitable products from the existing range to meet customer application requirements
- Furthermore, you will generate detailed CAD models and drawings for customer and manufacturing use
- Together with your team you develop test programs which demonstrate the suitability of products for specific applications and document the subsequent results as part of the validation
- You will lead the development of innovative new products and provide advice and guidance to the customer on product performance
- Last but not least you will meet KPIs and ensure that departmental procedures are in place and functional
About the Ideal Candidate
- You have a minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar role within the anti-vibration products industry plus a degree in Mechanical or Polymer Engineering
- Experience in leading teams is absolutely crucial as well as excellent communication skills which you have proven in the past while interacting efficiently with customers in a professional manner
- In have an in-depth knowledge of the principles of vibration and calculation methods
- You are able to design and communicate the information presented on complex engineering drawings and have a sound grasp of product design. 3D CAD knowledge is an essential requirement.
- You must be able to demonstrate product design experience and understand the design process. A high level of attention to detail is essential.
- In addition, you will demonstrate experience in applying analytical approaches to the resolution of design solutions
- You are familiar with and capable of using Microsoft programs
