Project Engineer/Project Coordinator

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Operations team.

You will be the focal point for internal and external stakeholders, leading multiple projects at the same time. The role requires working in a dynamic team with an array of project types, which calls for efficient information processing and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the complete Project lifecycle:

• During Contract award, you will highlight any risks to the respective sales members.
• Post-Award you will manage the projects delivery efficiently, within the required cost parameters and to the required quality standards in accordance with their contractual obligations and customer expectations
• Work with the Project Engineering, Supply Chain and Production divisions.
• Communicate project objectives to all team members involved.
• Customer relationship / management
• Support project managers in project deliverables.

Key skills and Attributes:

• Excellent verbal and written skills in English
• Strong commercial and Project Management skills focused on contract controls and effective scheduling.
• MS Project knowledge is required.
• Flexible and a fast learner that can operate independently with a strong interest in becoming an application expert to create value for customers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, good at working within a team environment to communicate, motivate, and engage others to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Results focused, willing to problem solve and give additional input as and when required to meet customer’s requirements.
• Resilient and able to work under pressure, with effective time management.

The must Haves:

• A tertiary qualification in Engineering: Electrical, Mechanical, or Marine based is preferred.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant working experience in project engineering or management, with a strong commercial and contract management understanding. Experience in Major infrastructure projects or niche equipment manufactures will be considered.
