Summary of the role
The Industrialization and Automation project manager will be responsible for the deployment of automated systems and digital solutions with our internal and external partners. They will be in charge of the operational management of continuous process improvement projects decided at BU level (coordination of BU Boots process experts). They will also manage projects budgets and schedules for industrialization and automation projects
Industrialization and Automation project manager will have the following missions:
- Analyze industrial needs
- Manage industrialization and automated systems projects and create partnerships with our suppliers
- Management of implementation, training and support after commissioning new machine or new project
- Ensure respect of standard methodologies and coordinate system improvement activities internationally
- Ensure project follow-up and efficient communication
- Share knowledge through standard methodologies & BU coordination
- Deploy continuous process improvement projects according to BU priorities
Competencies
You are proficient in English and willing to work in a very international environment, you are a good communicator and an expert in industrialization of automated systems. You have knowledge in industrial IT projects et project management (cost/schedule/quality).
Education and experience
Experienced Engineer (5 to 10 years’ experience) with a Master’s in manufacturing engineering
Successful experiences in handling industrialization and automation/IT projects
Interest for automotive sector
Behavioral characteristics
You demonstrate autonomy, analytical skills, proactivity and pedagogy. You have a good team spirit and real social skills. You are able to listen, to analyze risks and take appropriate actions. You are thorough and precise in your day-to-day work.
