Trelleborg Sealing Solutions (TSS), a business area of Trelleborg Group is headquartered at Sweden, with manufacturing locations and marketing network across the world.

We are a manufacturing company with about 24,000 employees worldwide, and our headquarters being in Trelleborg, Sweden.

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions India joined the Trelleborg Group in 2005. The company with about 700 employees in manufacturing facility and marketing office across India has been successful in creating strong footholds in the Sealing market of the country and is recognized as the Leading Sealing Solution Provider in India.

We have an Information Technology(IT) Division in Trelleborg which consists of a team in Trelleborg (Stuttgart) and a team in Bangalore (India) to support the internal IT requirements of Trelleborg.

The IT Division in Bangalore is looking for an LMS Developer. The person suited for this role must at-least have 3-5 years of IT background with experience as LMS Developer and has been in a position in earlier employment that was highly exposed to an international business environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conceive and develop software applications to extend and improve on TSS product offerings.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance web applications (PHP).
  • Understand the client requirements and prepare technical artefacts.
  • Work with team members on integration and application deployment.
  • Interact with cross-functional groups including product manager, customer support and marketing to develop new functionality and support existing customers.
  • Work with Onsite team, UI Designer, Business Analysts and team to create a compelling application with great user experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Profile

  • BE or Equivalent degree (CS preferred) from a reputed institute.
  • 3 years to 5 years of hands-on development and support experience in core PHP and Drupal applications.
  • Familiar with each layer in the LAMP stack and system infrastructure points of view knowledgeable and experienced in core PHP and MySQL programming.
  • Experience in any framework is mandatory (Codeigniter ,YII, CakePHP)
  • Should have worked on drupal 7.X created custom modules and Drupal PDO
  • Comfortable integrating websites with other web applications and systems, both commercial and open source.
  • Proficient in HTML/CSS, AJAX, JQuery, and client-side scripting libraries. Understands what it takes to develop pixel-perfect HTML that is cross-browser and standards compliant and meets accessibility/disability requirements.
  • Knowledge on LMS solutions like Moodle, and Totara is added advantage.
  • Understands web trends, including social media integration and the impact of the growth of mobile/tablet browsing.
  • Experienced in the use of using web services to pull in various data from external sources. (SOAP/REST)
