Trelleborg Sealing Solutions India joined the Trelleborg Group in 2005. The company with about 700 employees in manufacturing facility and marketing office across India has been successful in creating strong footholds in the Sealing market of the country and is recognized as the Leading Sealing Solution Provider in India.
We have an Information Technology (IT) Division in Trelleborg which consists of a team in Trelleborg (Stuttgart) and a team in Bangalore (India) to support the internal IT requirements of Trelleborg.
The IT Division in Bangalore is looking for an Senior UI Developer. The person suited for this role must at-least have 5-7 years of IT background with experience as Senior UI Developer and has been in a position in earlier employment that was highly exposed to an international business environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Builds software applications – Follows coding standards, builds appropriate unit tests, integration tests and deployment scripts.
- Collaborates with leads to explore existing systems, determines areas of complexity, potential risks to successful implementation, learns the applications capabilities.
- Communicates continually with the client and project teams – Explains progress on the development effort.
- Translates designs and style guides provided by the UI/UX team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance.
- Contributes to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface.
- Write application code that exceeds the defined quality standards.
Profile
- 5-7 years of experience in UI development with strong command of JS frameworks with Json
- Post Graduate / Graduate in Engineering / Computer Science with from a reputed institute
- JSP, Html 5, Javascript , jquery, Ajax ,Json is must.
- Good command on DOM / BOM.
- Strong hands on object oriented javascript , java script design pattern , bootstrap.
- Javascript unit testing using libraries like Jasmine .
- Exposure to Node.js and Grunt framework .
- Designing and implementing responsive websites.
- Cross browser scripting .
- Develop and maintain cross-browser friendly Web2O (or progressively enriched) CSS/CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript code (both hand-written and JQuery library + plugins). Other js libraries will be a plus.
- Good Exposure to eCommerce application development .
- Exposure to Content management UI development .
- Prototype experimental features .
- Experience building consumer facing sites.
- Demonstrated design and UX sensibility .
- Strong logic programming ability.
- Experience on client side performance improvement
