Join a team of highly competent resources as a Data Center Monitoring and Compliance Specialist at Trelleborg India Private Limited based out in Bangalore, India. We are looking for a teammate with minimum 3 years of experience and can join with us immediately.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Monitor, proactively and reactively respond to changing conditions identified within the central monitoring system for a mission critical environment consisting of:
- Over 1500 virtual servers, based in VMware and physical servers.
- Windows Server OS (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019); Standalone and Cluster
- Linux (RedHat)
- Database environments (MSSQL and Oracle)
- Infrastructure devices such as load-balancer and fiber channel switches
- Over 1500 virtual servers, based in VMware and physical servers.
- Identify non-standard or incompliant configurations and automated resolutions to achieve a consistent and desired state
- Collaborate with colleagues and business contacts to report issues and identify the root cause and remedial actions.
- Provide regular status reports and overview of hosting environment health
- Participate in call rotation/duties
Education and Experience
- 3 plus years of work experience in enterprise environments, preferably within a data center team.
- Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
- Experience or working knowledge in ITIL processes and standards is an added advantage though not essential
- Experience of some or all technologies currently deployed in the data center (covered in responsibilities)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is essential
