Job Description:
Product Design Engineer is responsible for the process of creating and developing new products within R&D Material Handling and Construction department. He/She researches and develops ideas and processes for new products and improve the performance and design of the existing ones.
He/She reports hierarchically to the Product Development Senior Manager and his/her key responsibilities will be:
- Ensure products are conform to customers' requirements, to design and to international regulatory standards.
- Prepare technical documentation of the product (including Tread Pattern, Mold Profile, Product details).
- Prepare the Design Data (Manufact. spec, BOM) from the tire design to enable prototypes and production tires to be manufactured.
- Define and issue tests requests for product qualification.
- Develop new technologies for tire design and the use of new innovative materials.
Key requirements:
- Master Degree in Mechanical
- Autocad 2D, 3D Creo (ProE) and/or SolidWorks modeling
- Advanced use of MS Office
- Fluent English
- Previous experience of 2/3 years in product development activities
- Basic knowledge on Tires manufacturing processes is a plus
- Basic knowledge on Tires/Materials technology is a plus
