We are seeking a diligent and driven Testing Engineer to join our highly skilled Technology & Innovation team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a leading company in the engineering industry and contribute to the development of innovative products. As a Testing Engineer, you will play a vital role in guaranteeing the impeccable performance of our products through meticulous testing and analysis.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Undertakes static, endurance, and fatigue testing of our products in accordance with departmental procedures
  • Dynamic characterisation testing as above using highly sophisticated testing equipment
  • Design and create testing fixtures and equipment
  • Operate lathes and milling machines for precise manufacturing and adjustment of test components and fixtures
  • Calibrate testing equipment and assist in general maintenance
  • Evaluate and report on customer returned products
  • Maintain and update calibration records
  •  

Job Requirements:

  • Mechanical Engineering degree
  • Confirmed experience in a comparable professional field, ideally in testing
  • Fast learner who can also work independently and implement new ways of working efficiently
  • Good attention to detail and systematic approach to work evaluation
  • Excellent communication and social skills
  • Excellent PC literacy VBA, MS Visual Studio and MS Office
  • Proficient in German and English, any further languages are an advantage
