We are currently seeking an experienced Service Management professional or a candidate with an appropriate mix of skills and experience.  You may currently be a Service, Commissioning or Project Manager with a small team or an Engineering team lead.

Your role will encompass the key functions of driving outcomes in the field during installation, commissioning, and operation.

This is an interesting and dynamic role with jobsites worldwide.

More specifically you will:

  • Guide your global team to deliver commissioning and service solutions to Trelleborg clients world wide
  • Shape the business through the development and optimisation of current and future LMS Service processes
  • Work closely with like minded professionals in the Global Aftersales team including our Service Manager AMS, Technical Support & Spares Managers
  • Together with your Service Coordinator ensure that administrative processes are well maintained and transparent
  • Be a key driver of continuous improvement
  • Operate a safety first culture

You will have:

  • Relevant trade or university qualifications such as one or more of the following; instrumentation or electrical trades, electrical, automation, mechanical or mechatronic engineering degree, recognised project management certification
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in areas such as OEM equipment service, industrial equipment installation and commissioning, automation, ports or shipyard construction or maintenance. At least 5 years in a management role.  Other equivalent experience will be considered
  • Experience developing and leading team. Experience managing remote teams especially internationally will be highly regarded
  • Strong administration and administration management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects / contracts to time and budget constraints
  • A track record showing an ability to review and improve business processes
  • Extensive experience dealing with clients especially under time pressure
  • Excellent written communications

Note that some international travel will be part of this role.
