Within the Business Unit Antivibration Solutions (AVS) we are developing and producing rubber-metal parts with approx. 750 employees across 8 sites worldwide. Our products are used in various areas, such as agricultural and construction machinery, wind turbines, general industry, marine applications and rail vehicles. Our innovation department consists of 5 engineers and deals with the development of new, innovative solutions, research and groundbreaking customer projects.

About the Job

We’re seeking an Internal Sales Representative (f/m/d) for our Rail Business for maintaining and developing existing customer and trade relationships . The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and a high customer and service orientation.

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Recording and maintenance of sales projects in cooperation with the key account managers
  • Crafting and maintaining an internal and external network to support daily work
  • Independent implementation of price calculation according to guidelines and price negotiations
  • Inquiry and quotation processing
  • Complaint processing
  • Tracking payments and payment reminder
  • Acquisition of follow-up business from existing customers
  • Supervising the order backlog
  • Preparation of reports and evaluations

About the Ideal Candidate

  • Completed commercial training
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a relevant area of responsibility in sales
  • Business process knowledge and basic technical understanding
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and German
  • Experience in the railroad and/or mobility industry is an advantage
