Are you passionate about building a robust and adaptable Supply Chain to meet the customers’ need? Do you feel energized to improve continuously and drive the change through the organization? If your answer is yes, then you might be the right candidate for us!

We are looking for an open-minded and driven supply chain manager with a hands-on, “can-do” mindset to lead and develop an outstanding supply chain. You will lead the Supply Chain department and several teams, including material and demand planning, dispatch and customer service, to streamline our processes and ensure our commitment to the customers are met with the right cost, lead time and inventory level.

Within the Business Unit Antivibration Solutions we are developing and producing rubber-metal parts with approx. 750 employees across 8 sites worldwide. Our products are used in various areas, such as agricultural and construction machinery, wind turbines, general industry, marine applications and rail vehicles. Our innovation department consists of 5 engineers and deals with the development of new, innovative solutions, research and groundbreaking customer projects.

About the Job

  • Leading a team to managing all activities connected to wider supply chain management tasks like demand planning, inventory planning, raw material buying process and logistics
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the local Supply Chain team and also the Customer Service team, supervising of tasks and ensuring good performance and record keeping
  • Analyze and optimize inventory level and execute measures to improve inventory level
  • Review and develop business policy and procedures to ensure inventory and working capital optimized across the site and support BU business as agreed
  • Develop and establish material planning and planning process
  • Optimize warehouse and material flow structures
  • Responsible for the annual inventory taking
  • Export compliance controls and practices are reviewed and keep up to date to ensure company compliance with current legislation
  • Implement all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance
  • Review and develop planning strategy and processes to ensure production optimized and materials aligned to plan whilst optimizing company cashflow
  • Analyze performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer service

Your profile and skills

  • Successfully completed your University degree in Business/Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
  • Besides a minimum of 5 years’ working experience in Supply Chain / Planning / S&OP functions, you also have experience leading a team
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain processes and good knowledge of relevant software and ERP systems (SAP is a plus)
  • Strong continuous improvement approach, with proven track record of driving and implementing changes successfully
  • Excellent analytical skills, and you are comfortable using data and facts to support your decisions and actions
  • Proactive, driven, and outspoken. Meaningfully, you can face conflict professionally and convince others
  • English and German at the business proficient level
