Summary of the Role: 

The Aerospace Marketing Project Manager, supports Trelleborg Aerospace through the execution of a variety of internal and external events, including trade shows, social content creation, brochures, and internal communications. The successful candidate will manage relationships with internal clients, identify project requirements, organize, develop, and execute project plans, coordinate with stakeholders, manage vendors and budgets, to ensure event success. 

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

The Aerospace Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Content Development for the Trelleborg Aerospace homepage. The Aerospace Marketing PM will work closely together with Engineered Coated Fabrics Marketing, Seals & Profiles Marketing, TSS sales colleagues, TSS Segment/product responsible and TSS Content Marketing to gather information for content creation to be compiled, edited, proofread and then posted on the homepage.  Work with the internal and external graphic designers to adapt existing and new graphics. The Aerospace Marketing PM will coordinate and organize page content updates along with the TSS Homepage Team in Stuttgart.
  • Shows , Exhibitions, and Events. Organize and coordinate assigned shows from start to finish.  Work directly with the exhibition, graphic design team, #D team,  marketing team, 3rd party vendors, etc. to ensure successful events.
  • Internal Communication projects, primarily in the Americas: Work on internal content creation such as manufacturing information slides, digital updates, monthly communication & internal marketing and communication.
  • Flyers and Brochures. Work with Segment/product responsible to develop appropriate graphics and wording in coordination with the TSS Marketing and internal and external graphic design teams.
  • Content Development: Create concept communication and work closely with the TSS Content Marketing team.
  • Social Media feeds: Generate a continuous stream of social media content including videos, pictures, and texts from the US, with content and input from Aerospace Sales teams and Segment leaders for the TSS Social Team who will publish them online.
  • Branding Guidelines: Understand and adhere to our Global Brand and Group guidelines.

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in organizing exhibitions
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience of content development
  • Experience in project management and working with external suppliers and agencies
  • Aerospace experience a plus
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

  • Understand and be willing to work with a diverse group of individuals across multiple cultures and countries.
  • Patience & willingness to cope with high workloads in some periods (Airshows & Events)
  • Understand graphics and guidelines
  • Understand the English language and be able to speak/write grammatically correct.

Travel: 

  • Part of the Global Marketing Aerospace team. Team member primarily responsible for activities in the Americas.
  • Traveling is required occasionally domestically and internationally, up to 20%.
