We are seeking a motivated Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality, process efficiency, and compliance. The Quality Engineer will contribute to various aspects of the organization, including manufacturing processes, product launches, and the continuous improvement of the quality management system.

In this role the incumbent is responsible for, but is not limited to the following:

  • Implement improvements in manufacturing processes and measurements.
  • Play a key role in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes.
  • Prepare Production Part Approval Processes (PPAPs) and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
  • Audit, develope, maintain and improve QMS
  • Support customer inquiries on product quality, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC), inspection data, and other metrics to support process, and product improvement.
  • Support supplier development and qualification activities.
  • Serve as an internal auditor and support the internal audit process.
  • Assist with gage and calibration systems, as well as Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R).
  • Prepare annual revalidations according to customer requirements.
  • Train production and quality personnel on measurement methods.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in the sciences, technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of formal quality systems (ISO9001, IATF16949, or AS9100).
  • Solid grasp of quality management tools and methods (control plans, GR&R, PFMEA).
  • Technical competence, analytical skills in data analysis, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
