Summary of Role:
A supply chain analyst, or supply chain specialist, ensures that company supply meets customer demand. Duties include overseeing the company's supply chain, ensuring timely delivery, keeping the company within budget, among other items.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Collect data on supply chain operations.
- Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency.
- Develop and execute projects to improve supply chain operations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with carriers and suppliers.
- Evaluates supplier operations and enforces quality standards.
- Measure supply chain performance and report back to management.
- Put data into JDE to keep stock records up to date.
- Comply with the processes of our JDE Edwards system.
- Logistics management (inbound/outbound) and supervision of customs processes.
- Preparation of commercial documents for import and export.
- Negotiations with freight providers.
- Responsible for providing information for "Carta Porte"
- Review of customs documents (COVE/PEDIMENTO)
- Integration of the electronic customs file
- Generation of coves and Manifestation of Value through the IMAR system
- Control of the physical file of Foreign Trade
- Responsible for destination cost reports, VAT management and logistics cost control
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field is preferred.
- Experience in complex logistics planning, supplier relationship management and future forecasting.
- Must possess experience with customs, import/export, "virtuales"
- Proficient with computers and other standard office technology
- Superior organizational and communication skills
- Intermediate level English, able to have a written and oral conversation.
