Trelleborg Polyurethane Products provides innovative polymer-based solutions for key industries within the Defense, Rail and Industry sectors. We are a standalone product area positioned within one of three Business Areas within the Trelleborg Group, who have a total of around 21,200 employees around the world.

Summary of the Role:

As a Production Coordinator you will have direct responsibility for the checking, releasing and monitoring of all documentation related to Production operations, including all transactions within the ERP system (M3) to ensure all departmental needs are met.

Production is responsible for delivering daily production activities within individual manufacturing cells on the production floor. You will support the production activities, contributing to meeting customer needs and achieving standards related to safety, quality, productivity, cost and on-time delivery.

We expect the successful candidate to be responsible for:

  • Ensuring accurate and approved information / data is used to create all required production documentation as well as any revisions to documentation
  • Maintaining communications between Production & Sales departments and conveying with customers and distributors on a regular basis
  • Crosscheck the sales orders with the ERP system (M3) daily & correct / challenge any unclear data
  • Review works orders within the ERP system, alongside the PGM daily & plan into production schedule
  • Distribute works orders (MO’s) and update schedules
  • Transact MO’s – invoices and shipping documents
  • Scheduling delivery dates based on knowledge of production schedules, liaising with production staff and the Sales department.
  • Arrange couriers for Dispatch and label creation for shipping documents, delivering external communication with customers.
  • Ensure shipment information is complete and accurate to assist Despatch
  • Participate in monthly stock takes, ensuring preparation work is carried out daily and any corrections highlighted and actioned
  • Report any stock losses or adjustments that may be required to the Stock Controller, in a timely manner to ensure any issues/errors are rectified within the same month
  • Report and transact any scrap/waste
  • When required, maintain the item master and update production structure /labour (BOMs).
  • Communicate any purchasing requirements, using accurate paperwork

Education experience we expect to see:

Ideally you will have proven working experience within an administrative role, preferably within a Manufacturing environment

Be able to demonstrate experience in the use of ERP systems with strong IT skills

Proficiencies we would expect:

  • Excellent Communication skills at all levels
  • Accuracy and consistency
  • Follow confidentiality at all times
  • Excellent IT software skills - Microsoft Office Suite
