3rd Shift Supervisor - Monson, MA

We are hiring a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to join our growing team! This position will work Monday-Friday 10:00pm-8:00am. This position will be required to train on 1st shift for 3-6 months before moving to 3rd shift.

Job Description:

• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
• Oversee and coach employees
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
• Check production output according to specifications
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
• Will be expected to run production equipment if needed, based on production and staffing needs

Competencies:

• Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
• Advanced skills in MS Office
• Experience with SAP preferred
• Organizational and leadership abilities
• Strong coaching and interdepartmental skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Problem-solving skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Previous experience as Production Supervisor in a manufacturing setting or similar role required
• High School Diploma required; Degree in a technical, engineering or relevant field will be an advantage

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
