We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant. In this role, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for financial support of the Paso Robles, CA and Elk Rapids, MI facilities and will report to the site Controller. This is a hybrid role working out of the Paso Robles, CA facility.
Essential Functions:
- Assists with month-end close, financial reporting and financial analysis
- Assist with preparation of annual budgeting
- Responsible for fixed asset accounting including creating capital requests for approval
- Involved with intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Oversees inventory cycle counts and annual inventory counting
- Develop strong business partner relationships across the organization
- Identify and communicate business risks and opportunities to leadership
- Involved with ad hoc projects as required
Qualifications:
Required:
- BA Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 4 years experience in Accounting or Finance
- Excel skills, general ledger experience
Desired:
- CPA Certificate
- JDE experience is desired
