Summary of Role: 

 

The Information Technology (IT) Manager will lead a team of IT Business Analysts in multiple countries. This individual will be responsible for supporting the organization during ERP implementations as well as other system updates and changes.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Manage and Develop IT Americas Application Team
  • Define and Implement business processes
  • Establish a strong application analyst team to support users and key super users in a functional area through an established Service Desk / ticketing system
  • Participate in feasibility studies (change requests) for system enhancements
  • Work closely with Technical competence team and IT Office to coordinate technical implementations
  • Document existing process flows and monitor and promote best practices across Trelleborg Sealing Solutions (TSS)
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and enhance processes including determining root causes
  • Work closely with business to understand requirements and translate them into business solutions
  • Drive strategic IT goals by monitoring progress of employee objectives, and by leading mid and annual reviews.
  • Support the recruitment process by validating Job Descriptions, gathering approval from Direct Management for new headcounts, supporting workflow processing, validating CV’s gathered from HR, supporting short list creation, contributing to interviews and by taking part in hiring decisions.
  • Support Change Management process

 

Education and Experience: 

 

  • Functional knowledge of Oracle J.D. Edwards Enterprise One for at least 5 yrs in Financial modules and/or Distribution
  • At least 5 yrs of experience managing a team
  • Understanding of industrial/commercial business processes and implications to reporting
  • At least 4 years experience in business process improvements projects
  • Proven Business Analyst experience
