Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is a leading global supplier of polymer-based critical sealing solutions deployed in demanding general industry, light vehicle and aerospace environments.
About the Role:
Responsible for ensuring all business operational related activities, planned and executed effectively to meet the requirements.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze the market (customers) for the direction of further development of engineering knowledge areas on any of the Trelleborg (TSS) areas (not particular E-tools).
- Develop and Define a strategy on the most efficient ways (platforms) to serve the audience with engineering knowledge and connect to existing or to be developed in other areas.
- Lead the engineering specialists in the consolidation of data in a structured way.
- Refine strategy on collaboration between knowledge areas and formula/selector-based E-tools / Apps.
- Lead the technical illustrator team in the setup and creation of the image areas.
- Continuous research and analysis to ensure connectivity between the engineering knowledge subject and seals or other Trelleborg BA portfolio areas.
- Receive dotted lines to 2-3 representatives of the graphical team (3D artist, Graphic Designers).
Education and Experience:
- University Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of practical experience as an engineer with Project Management experience.
- Broad knowledge of digital services and IT-related topics (in engineering or technical environment would be an asset).
- Practical/theoretical knowledge of the latest trends in technology like IoT, Smart products, Cloud computing, etc. will be advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of qualified work experience.
- Advanced IT skills, MS Office, image editing, plus, a good understanding of modern web technology, databases, and web-based data integration.
- Experience with concept creation and visualization / UI design of web-based tools.
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
