In connection with an exciting period of change and growth of the business in Trelleborg we are looking for candidates for the position of IT Operations. Our new colleague will be a part of Trelleborg Group Information Technology team with an office in our Trelleborg Ridderkerk B.V. site in Ridderkerk (Netherlands).

As backbone of our organization, our IT infrastructure needs to be state-of-the-art, with high availability and always adapting to our business’ needs. Our European IT Operations team provides support to the Trelleborg Group and is responsible for the entire IT environment.

As IT Operations, your main responsibilities will consist of administration of infrastructure support services related tasks and activities within Europe. You identify, diagnose, and resolve IT infrastructure problems on 1st level for all Trelleborg users and communicate solutions to end-users. Given the size of our organization, you will deal with multiple users and will need to prioritize specific tasks in line with business needs. Our IT environment is always evolving and changing, therefore from time to time you will encounter problems that haven’t been solved before. To make sure other colleagues know how you solved these issues, you will document your solutions in our systems and proactively share your knowledge within the team.

What do you bring?

  • Experience in a similar position, preferably in combination with an associates degree in IT (or higher);
  • Experience in networking, infrastructure and/or security awareness is desirable;
  • High level of customer focus and strong customer support commitment;
  • Ability to cooperate with others with a problem-solving attitude;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
