Innovation Engineer (hydro-mechanical) (m/f/d)

Summary of the Role:

Your role within the innovation team will be focused on the creation of innovative solutions, focusing on hydro-mechanical systems in close collaboration with other parts of the business. You elevate our products and solutions to the next level, precisely meeting our customers’ sophisticated demands.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Scouting and exploring new technologies
• Application of creativity techniques to fulfill future requirements of the AVS markets
• Develop and implement new software solutions for designing, simulating and calculating performance
• Conception and support of component tests
• Feasibility studies, analyses of potential and strategy development
• Strengthening cost-conscious and quality-oriented product development
• Technical project management of internal development projects from the idea to the proof of concept
• Internal training of new software and tools
• Creation and delivery of customer and sales training courses
• Technical advice to support the business, support of sales in the acquisition of new projects, preservation and strengthening of customer satisfaction
• Create and present conference and meeting contributions (internal and external)

Education and Experience:

• Successful completion of university studies (Master/Diploma) in the field of mechanical engineering, physics or similar courses of study or comparable skills and knowledge
• Several years of relevant professional experience in the field of mechanical engineering, vibration control technology or comparable areas or special knowledge from studies
• Fluid dynamics experience (hydraulics and pneumatics)
• Knowledge of simulation techniques and corresponding software
• Ideally experience in the design of elastomer components and verification with regard to strength and service life
• Strong experience of managing projects
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and special software (Matlab, Simulink, FEM)
• CAD experience (preferably Solidworks / Autodesk Inventor)
• Experience in modelling multi-body dynamic systems, non-linear materials and a good understanding of acoustics are a plus
• Spoken and written English and German (Necessary for the position in Velten)
