Project Engineer

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Cadley Hill is looking to recruit a Project Engineer based in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, and working as part of the New Business Team, the primary focus is to assist with the planning, executing and finalizing of projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and providing regular status updates to relevant stakeholders.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Project management support to the New Business Team
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- Develop project plans and associated communications documents, when required
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise mitigation plans
- When required, conduct project lessons learned and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
- Ensure compliance to all system requirements, including AS9100, Health & Safety, ISO14001, 5S, etc
Qualifications and Experience
- Engineering based qualification or certification
- Preferable knowledge and experience in the Aerospace industry
- Experience managing projects and working in a team orientated manner
