Summary of the role:

The quality management specialist is responsible for customer acceptance (first article inspection) and the recording and processing of quality inquiries / complaints. Both tasks are carried out in close communication with the customer. In order to ensure "one face to the customer", this is brought together in the task of "Quality Management Specialist".

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Processing of customer complaints for ADL and Velten
  • Definition of short-term measures, analysis of no conformities and, if necessary, introduction of further corrective measures
  • Complaints processing using 4D / 8D reports
  • Corrections and additions to inspection plans as part of processing of non conformities 
  • Monthly, quarterly, annual evaluation of non conformities 
  • Recording of the COPQ within the warranty cases
  • Main contact person and responsible for: customer audits, first article inspection and non conformities
  • Follow-up of measures based on customer audits, first article inspections and non conformities
  • Participation in the product development process (e.g. FMEA, PLP, APQP, FAI) in direct coordination with purchasing and development, etc. 

Your profile:

  • Technical university education or completed professional training
  • Several years of professional experience and qualification within the framework of quality management
  • Dealing with customers
  • Knowledge of the products and their areas of application
  • Reading of drawings, good technical product and process understanding
  • Fluent German and English skills are required
  • Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO/TS 22163 or IATF 16949 standards
