Summary of the role:
The main tasks of the quality management include:
- selecting and approving new suppliers
- Supplier development based on audits, qualification of processes
- Supplier support and further development based on the key figures and complaints
- You are working in the quality department
- Your main internal contact is Purchasing.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Qualification and further development of suppliers
- Supplier and process auditing
- Initial sampling from suppliers and their approval/ rejection
- Follow-up of complaints and corrective actions resulting from audits or other nonconformities
- Creation of audit, visit and key figure reports
- Evaluation of the suppliers together with the purchasing department
- Interface between the purchasing and quality department and the supplier
Your profile:
- Technical university education or completed vocational training, several years of professional experience and qualification within the framework of quality management
- Dealing with suppliers and customers
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering and/or metal processing
- Experience and knowledge of special processes(casting, forging, welding, coating)
- Reading drawings, good technical product and process understanding
- Basics of business administration
- Sound knowledge of ISO 9001/ ISO 14001
- Knowledge of IAFT 16949 or ISO/TS 22163 is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience in planning, conducting and evaluating audits and initial samples
- A willingness to travel is prerequisite
- proficient communication in English and German is required
