Would you like to be part of a great team ? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual who will be part of the Trelleborg Group IT Team, working from our Trelleborg Industrial Products UK Ltd site in Leicester.
In this hands-on role your main responsibilities will include the administration of infrastructure support services related tasks and activities within Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). You will also offer primary support to the UK colleagues and support countries within Europe for projects remotely or onsite.
You will be responsible for demonstrating commitment by:

Identify, diagnose, and resolve IT infrastructure problems on 1st level (first/single point of contact) for all Trelleborg users and communicates solutions to end-users in a user-friendly, professional manner.

Escalate incidents to next level support when the solution is unknown or cannot be solved within defined time frames.

Handle end-user incidents and prioritize work based on defined Service Level Agreements.

Deal with multiple users and prioritizes service in line with business needs.

Support of asset management processes following defined Trelleborg IT standards.

Education of users based on Trelleborg processes to make optimal use of Trelleborg business systems.

Active contribution to 2nd level group activities where required.

Contribute ideas to improve IT processes/services.

Support implementation of new and/or improved IT processes following Trelleborg IT standards.

Document, in an understandable matter, problems, solutions, results of project work as well as any elaborated results within the area of responsibility.

Work closely with others to achieve group goals.
About the ideal candidate
-
Education and experience in technical computer and networking service support.
-
A degree of computer science or bachelor’s degree will be advantageous, but equivalent combinations of education, experience and certification will be considered.

Experience of working in a preferably global IT organization underlined by knowledge, but not limited to networking, Microsoft Infrastructures, and security awareness.

Experienced in implementing, documenting, and operationally maintaining IT infrastructures.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with external suppliers and service providers including internal customers.

You will be committed to delivering high level of customer focus and strong customer support.

Ability to cooperate with other individuals with a problem-solving oriented attitude on a professional level.

Good time management, proactive and able to work successfully under pressure.

Possesses a high level of integrity with good work ethics and a proactive '' can do'' approach

Ability to travel internationally as required by business.

Affinity with manufacturing automation.
