Summary of Role:
The Junior IT Project Manager ensures that projects are completed on time and within budget and that the project's objectives are met. The Junior IT Project Manager oversees the different phases of the project to ensure the desired results are achieved and the interests of the different stakeholders are satisfied.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead projects from start to finish with some guidance from experienced colleagues and the Manager PMO
- Work directly with and receive guidance from Sr. IT Project Manager, Program Manager and Manager PMO in all tasks and duties
- Assist with project / process rollout preparation and planning
- Develop implementation plans and associated documentation
- Ensure effective communication across the project team and key stakeholders according to TSS Project Management Methodology, Project Management Principles and Best Practices
- Efficient Usage of the provided software tools to manage the project, such as Clarity PPM, Jira, MS SharePoint, MS Teams, etc. to track the status and progress of projects
- Deliver assigned projects on time and within budget
- Document scope, objectives and deliverables that support business goals
- Provide effective leadership to manage and organize the members of the project team
- Identify and resolve conflicts within the team
- Drive issues to resolution using escalation where appropriate
- Proactively manages change
- Identify potential risks, and develop effective response plans
- Monitoring and management of sub-contractors and external vendors and oversee ordering, accounting and billing
- Ensure that quality expectations and principles are met during the execution of the project
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Technical IT, Business IT, Computer Science, Engineering or similar – ideally with a focus on IT Project Management
- Experience participating in a project team
- Experience collecting, managing, and presenting project data
- Certification in Project Management (PMI, PRINCE2, etc.) preferable
- Experience in Clarity PPM, JIRA, MS Project, and other software tools for project management preferred
- Some understanding of ERP systems such as Oracle, Microsoft or SAP etc.
- Bilingual a plus, although not required

- Ability to work independently and to carry a high amount responsibility
- Self-motivation with ability to coordinate projects and report status and progress
- Willingness to travel and work effectively in a remote situation
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; strong organization and facilitation skills
- Good analytical and numeracy skills
- Ability to work in a highly dynamic team and fast-paced environment with continuous challenges
- Ability to assist the leadership of large, complex (business applications) initiatives is a must
- Experience in delivering IT enabled business value with an ability to manage a small to medium sized end-to-end project
- Talent in fostering a positive team environment, driving standards, consistency, and continuous improvement across the IT function
