TITLE: Pricing Excellence Manager
DUTIES: Representing Industrial Marketing Americas and the Healthcare & Medical Business Unit as the subject matter experts for all pricing related projects and initiatives; leading efforts to establish standard pricing and regularly evaluating price levels and making adjustments as needed; leading efforts to increase the knowledge and skills of the Industrial Marketing Americas and Healthcare & Medical BU sales teams in the application of our pricing methodologies; leading efforts to develop and implement price lists for standard products and services; collaborating on the Global Pricing Team to establish and implement pricing processes and methodologies; lead a team of two direct reports (Pricing Specialist); represent Industrial Marketing Americas and Healthcare & Medical Business Unit on teams tasked with developing and implementing global pricing training and tools; collect competitive price data, market trends and other areas impacting the recommendation of price points for products and services; develop pricing strategies for product/service positioning and branding; determine minimum order/line values to maintain profits; recommend margin exceptions based on market pricing; recommend price increases/decreases based on market trends and raw material costs; develop, publish and maintain price lists for standard products and services; audit pricing at the customer level to ensure accuracy; among other duties.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or Management and five years of experience in the job offered or related. Experience must include: Pricing experience; experience collecting competitive price data, market trends, and other areas of impact to recommend price points for products; experience developing pricing strategy for product positioning and branding; experience determining minimum order/line value to maintain profits; experience recommending margins expectation based on market pricing; experience recommending price increases/decreases based on market trends and raw material costing; experience developing, publishing and maintaining price lists for product and services; experience with ERP, CRM, and BI systems; and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
