Group Digital Services is a groupwide service organization driving the internal digital transformation. The department consists of a team in Trelleborg, Sweden and a team in Bangalore, India.

We are responsible for developing, delivering, supporting, and maintaining groupwide digital solutions. 

  • Cloud & Mobile Solutions: Creating value through intelligent collaboration tools and productivity solutions on desktop, web and mobile
  • Digital Process Automation: Increasing process efficiency, effectiveness, and quality, by re-designing processes and applying digital technology & automation
  • Data & Analytics: Increase organizational awareness, by collecting, structuring, and opening data to deliver powerful reporting and analysis solutions

In order to meet internal customers’ expectations, demands and requirements, we are looking for an experienced “Application support analyst” to manage the first line of service desk across departments and geographies.

We believe that, to achieve the above, the person suited for this role must have an IT background with at least 3 years of experience and at least 1 year handling service desk and has been in a position in earlier employment that was highly exposed to an international business environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor the service desk for incoming requests and follow up on open tickets
  • Responsible for providing support to Trelleborg employees on applications and platforms created and managed by Group Digital Services, including following tech stack:
    • SharePoint Online/Office 365
    • K2
    • UI Path
  • Guide and demo to business users on application usage for increased productivity
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with multiple teams, with a sound knowledge of email ethics
  • Remains flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and have the stakeholder success firmly as the focus
  • Build a strong relation with Group Digital Services team
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department

Profile

  • Bachelor/master’s degree with information technology background or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in Information Technology industry
  • At least 1 year of experience with Office 365 products and services
  • At least 1 year of experience working with service desk with L1 support
  • Should have supported SharePoint/Office 365/K2/RPA/Mobile applications
  • Ability to understand business requirements/impacts in a highly technical environment
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps/Visual Studio Team Services, is added advantage
  • High attention to details and service minded approach
  • Ability to take direction, constructive criticism, and work to specified deadlines
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Positive attitude, decisive but humble when needed
