GBR - Leicester

Would you like to be part of a great team as well as opportunities to grow your career? We have an exciting opportunity within our fantastic Quality Department!

Based at our Leicester site in the UK, the candidate will focus on Quality Management Systems and undertake the necessary training to become a lead QMS assessor and implementer for all relevant standards.

Key responsibilities in this role would entail

  • Ensure effective implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS),
  • Coordinate and develop the internal QMS audit process,
  • Assist with integrated management system audits,
  • Train / coach other internal auditors,
  • Help collate quality data for monitoring targets
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Undertake quality projects as required including improvement activities

In the Quality Team you would be responsible for:

  • Creating effective 5Y / 8D reports for non-conformances;
  • Demonstrating effective use of relevant quality tools & techniques;
  • Conducting internal audits as required;
  • Maintaining a 5S work environment.

The Quality System Technician will communicate & liaise as necessary with all relevant process owners, customers, suppliers and service providers.

Candidate Profile

The suitable candidate will ideally have the following

Education / Qualifications:

  • Minimum ‘A’ Levels or preferably HNC / HND / Degree in relevant discipline.

Preferable Knowledge / Experience:

  • Relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge / experience of quality management systems.
  • Knowledge / experience of quality tools & techniques.
  • Knowledge / experience of engineering.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written across all business levels (internal & external).
  • Experience in Microsoft Office to an Intermediate / Advanced standard
