Our Business Unit, Trelleborg Pipe Seals, provides polymer based sealing solutions for water, drainage and sewer pipes and is leading in ”no-dig”repair solutions for lateral sewage pipes.
We have an excellent opportunity for a Financial Controller at our Milford, NH location.
The responsibilities for the Controller will include but will not be limited to:
- Responsible for full accounting cycle, reporting financial results of multiple revenue and business streams to operations, corporate and government audiences on a monthly basis
- Prepare local forecasts and budgets
- Ensure adherence to US GAAP/IFRS reporting guidelines
- Analyze business results, report variances and write monthly discussion and analysis
- Submit tax reporting to corporate and government agencies.
- Supervise, guide and mentor core accounting team in AP, AR, Costing, and General Accounting
- Serve as Compliance Officer to ensure the business activities align with corporate guidelines
- Responsible for Internal and external audits for financial and legal reviews
- Custodian for company assets, including lease management, property insurance valuations
- Prepare/review requests for capital expenditures
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- More than five years of accounting experience in a manufacturing company
- Detailed understanding of financial statement preparation
- Good knowledge of standard cost systems, budgeting, and all facets of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
- Strong systems skills including Excel and ERP systems.
- Experience in ERP implementation preferred.
- Analytical and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a hands-on approach.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of the organization from operational to top management.
- Strong leadership, ability to mentor and train talent
- High integrity and trustworthy with confidential financial information
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, balance multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
