About this opportunity

Trelleborg’s Seals & Profiles operation is looking for an excellent marketeer and communicator to join the global marketing team. Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Business Development, you will be responsible for driving external-facing communication activities with an emphasis on development of positioning, content plans, sales enablement, and leading campaign architecture

You will also contribute to the strategic assessment of new products, solutions & innovations by prioritizing and translating market & customer needs into differentiated value propositions. The Marketing Manager will work closely with R&D, Product Management, Sales and colleagues in the global Marketing & Communication team to develop and deliver high-impact marketing messaging and to help launch products and solutions in our defined markets.

You will join a small, tight-knit team of like-minded marketers.

As this is a global role, traveling may be required.

  • Serve as a marketing subject matter expert to enable the sales team to effectively understand the customer buying journey and articulate the value of our products and solutions
  • Accountable for the development and delivery of the content marketing plan supporting the customer journeys and marketing campaigns, across a range of formats, working with the global marketing team and sales
  • Support launch and go-to-market planning of new products
  • Responsible for crafting impactful campaigns and related content
  • Responsible for marketing automation, digital advertising related to business-specific campaigns
  • Becoming a domain expert for customer use cases and industries through market research and close collaboration with sales to understand their challenges, solutions and business needs
  • Responsible for creating product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonates with target audiences
  • Support business with communications such as quarterly newsletters, Townhall meetings and other communications
  • Coordinating online and offline events, from implementation through follow-up, together with sales and global marketing
  • Responsible for analyzing the results and effectiveness of campaigns to deliver concrete insights and recommendations
  • Close collaboration with global marketing team for SEO and website content and optimization
  • Assist team working with CRM system
  • Responsible for regular reporting on performance and business outcomes
  • Follow-up on marketing-originated revenue growth for area

About the Ideal Candidate

We imagine you have minimum +5 years of experience as a generalist marketeer. It would be beneficial if you have worked in a large organization. As we work with Microsoft Dynamics 365, it would be a plus if you have experience with these tools (or other CRMs and CMSs).

On a more personal level, you are a great communicator and are skilled at creating a good collaboration across the organization, but especially with sales, working together to ensure marketing activities deliver a high commercial impact.

You have a commercial focus and proactively suggest ways to generate and improve lead quality. You are service minded, but not afraid to challenge your stakeholders when needed. You are a structured project manager with an attention to detail and you have the drive to ensure that the projects are completed successfully to specified deadlines.
