About the Job

  • Implement all relevant procedures described in the Integrated Management System (IMS) and ensure compliance
  • Undertake internal and process audits
  • Champion sustained culture of a continuous improvement
  • Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are in place, updated, revised, and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies and satisfy all customer requirements and audits
  • Respond to customer complaints putting in containment actions, full analysis, and implementing containment & countermeasures
  • Act as a point of contact for warranty issues
  • Update quality documentation and communicate to carry forward lessons learned from quality concerns in new customer contracts
  • Management of the team in the sign-off of parts and the resolution of internal/external quality concerns
  • Report against agreed quality metrics on a monthly basis
  • In conjunction with the Purchasing department, reduce the effect of non-conforming supplier materials on the production area quality
  • Member of the local Management team
  • Produce written reports and make presentations
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
  • Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization
  • Set quality department objectives and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports
  • Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department

About the Ideal Candidate

  • University Degree in Business or Technical field respectively comparable skills and knowledge
  • 3-5 years experience in leadership role within manufacturing environment
  • Proven Quality Management System experience of developing, documentation and maintaining Quality System in general.
  • Experience in a project driven business
  • Experience from customer and external audits
  • Strong organizational skills and interpersonal/communication skills
  • Structured and analytical
  • Quality tools and techniques
  • Proficient in English and German
