About the Job:

As Business Development Manager you will be responsible to drive and grow sales of all Trelleborg Wheel Systems (TWS) offerings (Industrial, Construction and Agricultural) for Tires and Rubber Tracks in Thailand.

You will have the challenge to develop and execute the strategy including building brand awareness and positioning of TWS as well as supporting in identifying and developing eventual targeted acquisitions.

You will report directly to the Sales Director Asia Ex China.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow existing customers and advise the type of support needed to meet annual targets. Focusing on Port and GSE customers
  • Manage the customer relationship through all phases of the sales cycle. Raise brand awareness and knowledge by organizing and participating in marketing events such as trade shows, demo days, training seminars, etc.
  • Provide account management to customers and is responsible for tracking customer information, forecasts and reports while facilitating feedback to appropriate areas of company regarding customer and operational needs, business, opportunities and sales efforts
  • Collect voice of customers and resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management. Develop business cases for new products needed and new market requirements and collect market intelligence to determine benchmark for pricing and product development
  • Be responsible for new businesses development, with focus on the setting up of INTERFIT (tyre Service) program for the replacement markets via prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing of new customers. Prepare supporting proposals and presentations

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, sales or related field. Master’s degree will be considered a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience selling similar and premium tyre products; experience in dealing with and network with Thailand Industrial, Construction and Agricultural OEM is preferred
  • Excellent public speaking, presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Self starter and self-motivated with excellent time management and organization skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
