Trelleborg Sealing Solutions India joined the Trelleborg Group in 2005. The company with about 700 employees in manufacturing facility and marketing office across India has been successful in creating strong footholds in the Sealing market of the country and is recognized as the Leading Sealing Solution Provider in India.

We have an Information Technology (IT) Division in Trelleborg which consists of a team in Trelleborg (Stuttgart) and a team in Bangalore (India) to support the internal IT requirements of Trelleborg.

The IT Division in Bangalore is looking for an Software Engineer - Testing (Automation). The person suited for this role must at-least have 1-2 years of IT background with experience as Software Engineer - Testing (Automation) and has been in a position in earlier employment that was highly exposed to an international business environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed.
  • Select and develop appropriate test automation scripts, applying the latest techniques in test automation e.g., data-driven testing , Key word driven etc.
  • Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for various Software products.
  • Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects.
  • Work with the Release Engineering team to create and maintain an automated nightly build verification (“smoke”) test.
  • Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.
  • Monitor automation processes and contribute to manual testing on demand

 Profile:

  • BE or Graduate from a reputed institute.
  • 1-2 years of software testing experience in Automating web and mobile applications.
  • Hands on Experience on Selenium Web driver with Junit or TestNG is must.
  • Good knowledge in Object Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts is must.
  • Good knowledge in any Programming Languages like JAVA, Python, JavaScript etc is must.
  • Good knowledge in Web Technologies like HTML, DOM CSS and XPATH is must.
  • Good knowledge on various Automation Framework is preferred.
  • Knowledge on any other automation tool (TestingWhiz, QTP etc) and Performance testing tool (Jmeter) will be a plus.
  • Knowledge on Jenkins, GIT, Maven will be a plus.
  • Knowledge in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) will be a plus.
  • Strong knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) & Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  • Strong knowledge in Testing Methodologies, Testing Types and Techniques.
  • Should possess “Test to Break Attitude”.
  • Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
