TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides application support, primarily for SAP and related auxiliary systems, including barcoding, MES, MS Office, and plant-specific applications.
- Assists IT Manager and SAP Analyst with SAP implementation and updates, gathering requirements and data analysis.
- Coordinates requests with Group IT or external consultants.
- Coordinates third-party vendor access to areas of the plant for service on network cabling, phone lines, or other IT-related equipment.
- Configures and troubleshoots barcoding equipment related to SAP
- Trains users on system conventions, IT rules and regulations, SAP transactions, and barcode device transactions as part of onboarding.
- Assembles data required for documenting IT internal controls.
- Assists IT Manager with special projects as needed.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in IT-related field preferred and 5+ years experience in IT, or equivalent background and experience
- Experience working in a SAP environment
- Familiarity with a wide variety of IT concepts (networks, databases, operating systems)
- Experience with administration of Windows Server-based applications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Core Suite
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases

GEOGRAPHY TO COVER & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Primary location is Northeast US (Boston, MA) but occasional travel may be required within the US.
