About the Job

The Marketing Executive will provide a broad range of communications and marketing support to the Sales & Marketing Directors and Sales Managers within the Marine Technology businesses (Docking & Mooring, Navigation & Piloting and Oil & Gas Transfer).

This is a multitasking position responsible for the development, delivery, and monitoring of a wide variety of marketing activities, including:

  • Update existing and build new marketing collateral to support sales growth and development within the businesses, including presentations, brochures, product data sheets, webinars, photos, video and animations.
  • Ensure website content & messaging is up to date and aligned with strategic marketing priorities; provide support where needed with trade shows and conferences
  • Assist in the development of PR and social media campaigns, and support business in actively engaging in Social Media and other marketing channels
  • Assist in commercialization of new products and support marketing plans, keeping up to speed on developments in marketing theory and practice for the B2B environment
  • Provide regular updates to the businesses on marketing activities

In this role you will support Sales Directors & Managers in developing and formulating Sales & Marketing strategies:

Marketing activities will include.

  • Handle existing portfolio of marketing assets and materials (Marketing brochures, Webinars, PR, whitepapers & other associated marketing assets)
  • Development of new marketing collateral / assets to support new products, entry into new markets or ongoing development within existing traditional markets.
  • Ensuring an optimal connection of marketing activities with the TMU BU Marketing Manager in Singapore
  • Assist in development & performance PR activities
  • Assist with coordinating local marketing activities such as fairs and seminars

Development of standard templates to optimizing the quotation process.

Periodic preparation of sales related reports on.

  • Progress of sales results
  • Leading indicators
  • Growth initiative development
  • Hot prospects / Leads

About the Ideal Candidate

  • 2 – 3 years’ experience, preferably with global or regional exposure; degree, or equivalent, level in a communications or marketing field
  • Evidence of leading and executing specific marketing B2B marketing projects / communications within an engineering or manufacturing would be preferable
  • A comprehensive understanding of how marketing can directly and commercially influence the growth and profitability of an organisation
  • Excellent communication skills across (both written and verbal) all business levels (internal & external); good organization, time-management and forward planning
  • A fast learner who is willing to get things done, try new things, tackle problems, and keep up to date with the latest marketing trends
  • Proficient (spoken and written) in English
  • Ability to handle projects independently
  • Computer proficiency with excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Display confidence, energy and creativity
  • Excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills with ability to modify technical content for a wider audience
  • Excellent people skills and an upbeat and hardworking demeanor
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Flair for innovative thinking
  • Great teammate able to work collaboratively and successfully as a team member
  • Resourcefulness in solving problems
  • Sound understanding of and ability to apply marketing principles and philosophy
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
