Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Sizdirmazlik Ltd. Şti. located in Istanbul (Anadolu), services the Turkish market with high performance sealing solutions in Izmir, BursaAnkara, and Istanbul regions. We are now searching for a Sales Engineer with a technical background, preferably in sealing technologies together with strong commercial skills. You will be part of a team of Sales Engineers and responsible for the Turkish market, but also having many international interfaces to production, R&D, and other functions in and outside the Trelleborg Group. 

Your responsibility will be to develop the business with both existing key accounts and new customers. You will be given a large responsibility and a chance to work independently to develop the business in your area. As a Sales Engineer, you will work closely with customers and the role includes traveling. 

Scope of your role 

  • Proactively visit existing and new potential customers 
  • Business development with existing and new customers; in industrial and automotive segments around Bursa and close cities
  • Prepare presentations, quotations, and sales contracts 
  • Take responsibility for the achievement of sales targets, turnover, and profit 
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to our customers and internal business departments 
  • Observe technical trends regarding sealing and guiding 
  • Monitor commercial and internal Trelleborg projects 

What distinguishes you 

  • Good technical understanding and suitable study background e.g. B.Sc. or M.Sc. 
  • Min 5 years of work experience preferred in sales 
  • 2 to 3 years of sealing technology experience is a benefit 
  • Application knowledge (e.g. in automotive, in machinery, hydraulics, process industry, life science, medical technology, …) is a benefit 
  • Good PC skills (MS Office etc.) are a must, other IT-experience (ERPs, CRMs, etc.) is a benefit 
  • Both written and verbal advanced skills in English, as well as Turkish, are a must 
  • High motivation, open mindset, and interest for personal development, good interpersonal and team co-operation skills are needed 
  • Willingness to travel (national and international) 
  • Completed military service (for male candidates) 
  • Valid driving license 
  • Located in Bursa
