Trelleborg Sealing Solutions India joined the Trelleborg Group in 2005. The company with about 700 employees in manufacturing facility and marketing office across India has been successful in creating strong footholds in the Sealing market of the country and is recognized as the Leading Sealing Solution Provider in India.
We have an Information Technology (IT) Division in Trelleborg which consists of a team in Trelleborg (Stuttgart) and a team in Bangalore (India) to support the internal IT requirements of Trelleborg.
The IT Division in Bangalore is looking for an Engineer - Development. The person suited for this role must at-least have 3 to 5 years of IT background with experience as Engineer - Development and has been in a position in earlier employment that was highly exposed to an international business environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conceive and develop software applications to extend and improve on Trelleborg product offerings.
- Research, conceive and develop software applications to extend and improve on Trelleborg product offerings.
- Maintain and enhance iOS applications.
- Translate requirements and mock-ups into fully functioning features.
- Work with team members on server-side integration.
- Interact with cross-functional groups including product manager, customer support and marketing to develop new functionality and support existing customers.
- Work with product managers, UI designers and the team to create a compelling application and great user experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
Profile:
- BE or Equivalent degree (Computer Science or Information Technology preferred) from a reputed institute.
- 3 years to 5 years of software development experience in iOS development.
- Strong technical background, good knowledge of XCode
- Strong command over Swift and objective C.
- Experience in Swift UI will be an additional plus
- Comfortable in Storyboard and Playground.
- Experience in cocoa frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, Core Audio and Core Text
- Strong command over Web APIs (REST) & Social media integration.
- To design, develop, test, and implement an iOS application as well as continue support on new iOS versions of the application
- XC Test Unit testing framework experience
- Experience in Hybrid frameworks /development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus.
- Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems.
- Solid team player.
- Solid experience of debugging, profiling (CPU, Memory, SQLite connections), root cause analysis
- Adheres to development, SLA deadlines and schedules
- Understands the necessity of and contributes to coding standards and best practices
- Should be able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Self-motivated to explore new technologies, applications, and environments.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid environments
