Join a team of highly competent resources as a Data Center Compliance Specialist based out of Trelleborg Bangalore, India.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Monitor, review and install security and operating system patches to a mission critical environment consisting of:
  1. Over 1500 virtual servers, based in VMware and physical servers.
  2. Windows Server OS (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019); Standalone and Cluster
  3. Linux (RedHat)
  • Collaborate with business contacts to schedule patching and reboot activities to meet business requirements whilst maintaining a high-level of security compliance
  • Provide regular status reports and overview of patching status
  • Regularly work outside of core business hours to align with business needs.
  • Participate in call rotation/duties

Education and Experience

  • +2 years of work experience in enterprise environments, preferably within a data center team.
  • Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Experience or working knowledge in ITIL processes and standards is an added advantage though not essential
  • Experience of some or all technologies currently deployed in the data center (covered in responsibilities)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is essential


  • Structured approach to daily routines and troubleshooting processes.
  • Interest in applying change and process management rules in a disciplined manner.
  • Ability and motivation to listen and learn from colleagues and peers
  • Ability to work in co-operation with vendors and colleagues across multiple business areas and countries.
