We are currently looking to recruit a full time Materials Development Chemist to develop new rubber compounds to meet the ever-increasing needs in the markets we operate across the globe.

Duties and Responsibilities include

  • Develop new rubber compounds to meet customer specifications.
  • Design mixing processes to achieve optimum processing properties.
  • Provide rubber compound technical service to customers and Trelleborg Group sites.
  • Compile technical literature/documentation for promotion purposes.  

Qualifications:

  • BSc or Master’s degree in Chemistry.
  • Experience in rubber compound development and processing will be an asset (training locally and abroad will be given as required).
